NHS staff, police, teachers, firefighters and the Armed Forces get money off a P&O Cruises holiday. Set sail from Southampton on Iona or Arvia, wave goodbye to the airport queues and say hello to the SkyDome. Join the free Sailing Club and request your code.
P&O Cruises from Southampton
Iona and Arvia are P&O's newer ships, and they're based in the UK for most of the year, so your holiday can start without a single airport queue. Under the SkyDome there are live shows and aerial acts, plus more than 30 bars and restaurants to work through and the Ocean Studios cinema for when you need to sit down. Most P&O ships are family friendly, so the whole gang can come along. Arvia also has a swim-up bar and a high ropes course, in case a drink and an adrenaline rush are both on the list. Pick your destination, then your itinerary, then a stateroom, from inside, outside and balcony cabins to Conservatory Mini-suites and suites. The team will talk you through the cabin grades and what's onboard, depending on availability. Members can browse exclusive discounts, cruise deals and savings on the latest promotion.
How the P&O cruise discount works
It's a sliding scale, so the more your cruise costs, the more you save. It works on early booking, early saver and saver fares too, so the saving comes on top of those. Flights you book with us make no difference, but P&O's own flights count towards it. You'll only get it through Rock The Boat, so booking direct or through another travel agent means leaving the saving behind.

P&O NHS discount: your questions
1. Is there a P&O NHS discount?
Yes. If you work for the NHS, you can join the Sailing Club for free and save on P&O when you book through Rock The Boat.
2. Is there a P&O teacher discount?
Yes. Teachers and education staff are in the club, so you can join for free and save on P&O through Rock The Boat.
3. Who is eligible for the P&O discount?
Police officers, service personnel and the Armed Forces can join, as can the NHS, firefighters, ambulance crews and the rest of the emergency services, social care workers, healthcare staff, teachers, students and HM Prison Service.
4. How is the P&O discount worked out?
It's a sliding scale. The more your cruise costs, the more you save.
5. Does it work on early booking, saver and select price fares?
Yes. You get the saving on top.
6. Do flights change the discount?
Flights you book with us make no difference. P&O's own flights count towards it.
7. Can I get it if I book direct with P&O or through my own travel agent?
No. It's only available through Rock The Boat, so booking direct or through another travel agent means you miss out.
8. How do I get my P&O discount code?
Join the club, then request a unique code for the P&O sailing you want. If you haven't picked one yet, the team will help you choose.
9. Can I join if I'm retired or a veteran?
Usually, yes. Retired staff and veterans can generally still join. Check your situation with the team before you book, just to be sure.
